Maxine Kay Wahl

Maxine Kay Wahl, 84, of Kendall passed away peacefully on May 16, 2022. She was born March 15, 1938 to the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Whitehouse) Hall.

Maxine was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Kendall and worked for many years as a Pharmacist Assistant in Brockport. She enjoyed watching television and her favorite show was “Blue Bloods.” Maxine was a great baker, known for her pies and sugar cookies. She loved the color red and birds of all kinds, especially Cardinals.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gerald on Sept. 14, 2019; siblings: Audrey Pfund, Roger Hall; and great-grandson, Samuel Tomasino.

Maxine is survived by her daughters: Melodee Wahl of LeRoy, NY, Sherry (Ronald) Tomasino of Kendall, NY and Stephanie (Robert) Rudman of West Allis, WI; grandchildren, Jacob (Cheryl) Tucker of Tucson, AZ, Thomas Tomasino of FL, Joseph (Heather) Tomasino of Kendall, NY, Katherine (Stephen) Christner of Batavia, NY, Stephen (Erin) Rudman of Columbia, MD, Shawn (Emily) Wahl of Glen Burnie, MD; 8 great-grandchildren plus one on the way, and three nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 16650 State Route 31, Holley, NY 14470 on Thu., May 19 from 12-2 pm where her memorial service will follow at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery in Hamlin.
