Mary (Rice) Coveney
Pittsford/Albion – Mary R. Coveney, 98, passed away peacefully August 17, 2022. She was born December 10, 1923, in Albion, the daughter of the late Stanley and Pearl Anna (Jozwiak) Rice. Mary was a graduate of Albion High School class of 1940 and was a member of Holy Family Parish/St. Joseph’s Church. Mary was a former employee of Albion Savings and Loan and the Village of Albion.
She was predeceased by her husband John Stanley Coveney in 1989 and a son-in-law Ronald Zwick.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Karen Zwick and Jenny Coveney; grandchildren, Rebecca Coe, John Zwick, Jenna Popoli and Claire Popoli; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary’s mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish/St. Joseph’s Church 106 S. Main St. Albion on Saturday September 3, at 10:00am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
