Mary Jane (Crockett) Lacey
Mary Jane (Crockett) Lacey, 80 of Stony Point NC, formally of Medina NY, passed away on Mon., April 5, 2021, at Gordon Hospice House, Statesville, NC.
She was born on Aug. 8, 1940, a daughter of the late Albert and Laura Crockett. She graduated from Medina High School in 1959. Jane worked for McDonald’s in Hickory for 15 years, retiring at the age of 62. She loved playing cards, sewing, painting, and enjoying the company of others.
Jane is predeceased by her husband of 37 years Robert H. Lacey; her parents; and her brothers; Grant Crockett and Gary Crockett. She is survived by her daughters: Connie Lacey (Danny Collins), Anna French (Tim Winter); son, Matthew Lacey; her six grandchildren: Kyle (Stacey) Smith, Eric (Ashley) Smith, Scott (Teagan) Smith, Amber (Mark) Anderson, Andrew Crowson, and Lindsay (Lee) Burchett. Followed by her five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a lifelong friend, Rita Prentice.
