Mary Jane (Beach) Nenni

Mary Jane Nenni, 97, of Albion passed away peacefully, Feb. 3, 2022, at the Martin Linsin Hospice Residence in Albion.  She was born July 31, 1924, in Albion, a daughter of the late Herbert and Lucy (Kaniecki) Beach.  Mary Jane was a lifetime resident of this area and was a member of Holy Family Parish and the former St. Mary’s Assumption Church, St. Mary’s Rosary Society and the St. Mary’s Athletic Club.  She was a beloved lunch lady at the Albion Primary School for 27 years and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Elmer of 63 years, who passed away in 2006.  Predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy Beach and Shirley Manzella and brothers, Herbert Beach Jr. and Robert Beach.

Mrs. Nenni is survived by her daughter, Susan (Steven) Ernst of Barre Center; sons: Richard (Holli) Nenni of Albion, Michael (Claudia) Nenni of Albion, Mark (Darlene) Nenni of Albion and Scott (Richele) Nenni of Florida; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Eugene Beach of Oakfield, Donald Beach of NC, Arthur (Pat) Beach of Albion and Kenneth (Donna) Beach of Albion; sisters: Marcia Behnke of Brockport, Constance Decker of Webster, and Felicia (Fred) Budynski of Rochester; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 21 West Ave., Albion on Mon., Feb. 7, from 4-7 p.m.  Mary Jane’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church on Tue., Feb. 8, at 10 a.m.  Private interment in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
