Mary H. Lawrence

Mary H. Lawrence, 83, of Albion, passed away March 28, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. She was born June 21, 1935 to the late Paul and Mary (Gallagher) Edwards.

Mary enjoyed gardening with her late husband, LaVerne, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, collecting wind chimes, playing solitaire on the computer, and watching EWTN on her television.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, LaVerne, in 2011; and several siblings.

Mary is survived by her children, Ann (Steve) Chew, Judith Edwards, Michael (Jay Hueber) Lawrence, Robert Lawrence, Mary (Scott) Patten, Paul (Lucinda) Lawrence, David (Denise) Lawrence and Joseph (Jackie) Lawrence; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Gerald (Mora) Edwards, Carol (George) Rich, Carl (late Linda) Edwards and Pauline (Bob) Forrester; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion NY 14411, on Mon., April 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Mary’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Family Parish – St. Joseph’s Church, West Park Street, Albion, on Tue., April 2 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
