Mary “Beth” Johnson
CLARENDON – Mary “Beth” Johnson, 80, passed away peacefully December 1, 2022. She was born July 24, 1942, in Rochester the daughter of the late Mary & Frank Voelkl.
Beth was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Holley and the Clarendon Lions Club. She was a former employee of Westside Health, Action for a Better Community and the Holley Community Free Library. Beth volunteered for many organizations including Genesee Country Village, BSA Den Leader, MCB12 Reunion Support and Holley Community Center. Beth would be there to help anyone in need. “Beth was Beth.”
Beth is survived by her husband and best friend or 40 years, Kevin Johnson; daughter, Dawn Marie (Scott) Callaghan; son, Andrew Johnson; grandchildren, Sarah, Dan, Brian, Grace and Dillion; God child, Theresa; and cat, Hazel.
Beth’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 9 S. Main St. Holley on Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Beth’s arrangements have been entrusted to Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 16650 State Route 31, Holley.
