Mark Tiberio

Mark Tiberio, 66, of Ruskin, Fla./Holley, NY passed away at home on Jan. 9, 2022 after a3-year courageous battle with ALS. He was born July 1, 1955 to Dominic and Mabel Tiberio.

Mark lived in Holley until moving to Florida where he pursued a career in law enforcement working for Boca Raton Police Department and as a Deputy Sheriff at Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office.  During his 30 years in law enforcement, he received numerous accommodations regarding his kindness, respect, and caring nature.  This is also how he spent his life- always reaching out with kindness and love to everyone.  He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, and friend.  He will be missed, but never forgotten.

Mark was predeceased by his father, Dominic “Zugo” Tiberio; brother, Dennis “Butch” Tiberio; and sister, Janet Levy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cheryll; children: Brett Tiberio, Shasta (Maksim) Deryabkin, Nicholas Baran; mother, Mabel Tiberio; brother, Don (Moudka) Tiberio; sisters: Kristi Tiberio, Shelia (Wayne) Shults-Fox, Toni (Mike) Barber; special friend, Tony Piedimont.

Memorial mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Sat., May 14 at St. Mary’s Church, 11 S. Main St., Holley, NY 14470.  There will be a Celebration of Life luncheon following the service at the Moose Lodge in LeRoy.  Friends are welcome to attend either or both events.
