Marjory M. Davis
Marjory M. Davis, 84, of W. Barre passed away Feb. 26, 2022 at Medina North Wing. She was born July 2, 1937 in the Town of Shelby, a daughter of the late Burt and M. Marie (Shultz) Evans and had lived in this area all of her life.
Marjory was a member of West Barre United Methodist Church where she served on various committees. She was a 3rd generation 4-H leader for 55 years teaching cooking, baking, sewing and other home economics to over 100 girls and boys. Marjory briefly worked at W.T. Grants in Albion.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son, Clifford Lee Davis; sister, Evelyn Greene; brother, Orville Evans.
She is survived by her husband James; children: David (Jann) Davis, Lynette (Aaron) Kozlosky, Marlene (Erik) Seielstad; grandchildren: Kerri (Jeffrey) Higgs, Megan (Brent) Martin, Morgan Seielstad, and Riley Seielstad; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion on Fri., March 4, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Her funeral service will be Sat., March 5 at 11 a.m. at the West Barre United Methodist Church, 5377 Albion Eagle Harbor Rd., Albion, NY 14411.
Burial will be in Millville Cemetery in the spring. Memorials may be made to West Barre United Methodist Church; or Orleans County Cornell Cooperative Extension, (4-H), 12690 NY31, Albion, NY 14411.
