Marion MillerMarion V. (Huff/Skzypek) Miller, 75, of Albion, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 3, 2020. Marion was born in Niagara Falls on Jan. 23, 1944 to Mary (Alphonsine) Huff, who was the wife of the late Lewis E. Huff Sr., who died in December 1972; and the loving soulmate of the late John W. “Windy Jack” Brabon Sr., who died in 2003.

Marion loved her family and friends very deeply. She enjoyed spending time with her lady friends at the Village House for dinner, playing cards and talking on the phone. She was a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan who never missed the chance to watch a good game. She never missed a holiday or birthday with her family and friends – you could always depend on a card in the mail. Anyone who knew Marion knew that she loved them, and they loved her right back.

In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her loving husband, Stephen T. Miller, on Feb. 7, 2009. Marion’s first husband, Robert Skrzypek Sr., passed away on Aug. 12, 1988. She was also predeceased by her brothers, William J. and Gordon L. Huff.

Marion is survived by her three children, Darla J. (Michael) McBain, Patti J. (Darren) Prentice, and Robert B. (Sally) Skrzypek II; grandchildren, Terra L. (Mark) McGaffick, Michael (Ashlee) McBain II, Robert B. (Leah) Skrzypek III and Darren S. Prentice; great-grandchildren, Logan, Troy, Taylor and Wesley; brothers, Randy Huff, Lloyd “Pinky” (Mary) Huff, Alfred Huff and Lewis (Deborah) Huff Jr.; sisters, Bernadette (Alfred) DeGregorio, and Ruth (Anthony) Ponzi; many more extended family members; and a great many friends.

The family will receive friends on Fri., Jan. 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, where her funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. immediately following visitation. Marion will be laid to rest with her husband at Kenyonville Cemetery during a private ceremony at the convenience of the family.
