Margaret J. Porter
Margaret J. “Marge” Porter, 93, of Brockport, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2020. She was born April 10, 1927 in Lockport to the late George and Veronica (Pozarzycki) Lowe.
Marge worked for GM for many years before retiring. She enjoyed refinishing furniture, doing stained glass work, quilting, leatherwork, and snowbirding in Citra, Fla.
In addition to her parents, Marge was predeceased by her brother, Gordon; and her stepson, Gerald Porter Jr.
Marge is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Gerald; daughters, Sandy (Terry) Lund and Terri (Steve) Keenan; stepson, Jim (Susie) Porter; stepdaughter, Debbie (Mike) Horton; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours. Marge’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed., July 29 at 11 a.m. at Church of Nativity of the BVM, 152 Main St., Brockport NY 14420. Interment will follow at Cold Springs Cemetery, Lockport.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Marge’s name may be made to your favorite charity.
