Maggie KenwardMaggie Kenward, 89, of Albion, passed away peacefully on Sat., Nov. 23, 2019 at Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Medina, two days shy of her 90th birthday. She was born Nov. 25, 1929 in Bickmore, W.Va., a daughter to the late John and Annie (Dawson) Brown.

She married Willie E. Taylor, and together they raised a family of 14 children. They moved to the area from West Virginia in the early 1950s, first to Kuckville and then to Middleport. Sadly, Willie died in 1969. A hardworking and loving mother, Maggie dedicated most of her life to raising her family. She was a great cook, and she enjoyed listening to gospel music, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Wayne Kenward; nine children, Anna (late Harold) Fidanza, Rosa (Ron) McCabe, Michael Taylor, Bruce (Patti) Taylor, Ronald Taylor, Jewell Taylor, Bernice Russell, Charlotte (Bud) Holler and Pamela (Ken Cornell) Cobb; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Beside her parents and first husband, she was predeceased by five children, Billy Taylor, Eula Joe Miller, Robert Taylor, Dorothy Kim Crosby and Jerry Taylor.

There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Maggie’s memory may be made to Alzheimer’s Association of WNY, 6215 Sheridan Drive, Suite 100, Amherst NY 14221.

Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Please share condolences at www.cooperfuneralhome.com.
