Magenta Scott-Matthys
Magenta Scott-Matthys, 30, of Albion passed away Oct. 4, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by her mom and auntie Sheila. She was born Oct. 17, 1990 in Rochester, a daughter of Kathy (Michael) Schreib Tyler and Artis Scott and had lived in this area all of her life.
Magenta graduated from Albion High School in 2009. She loved her rabbit, Leia, crafting, searching for rocks and fossils and visiting with her family; especially her cousins.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents: Madeline and Frank Schreib. In addition to her mom, Kathy, she is survived by her brother, Spunky; aunts: Sheila and Marsha; and several cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave., Albion on Fri.. Oct. 8, 5-7p.m. Memorials for Magenta may be made to the American Heart Association, 25 Circle St., Rochester, NY 14607.
