Louise D. Lusk
HOLLEY – Louise D. Lusk, age 92, passed away December 17, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born January 11, 1931 in Holley, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Donatelli) DeFilipps and had lived in this area all of her life.
Louise was an active member of St. Mary’s Church. She loved to read and travel, going to Italy, Hawaii, her cottage in Salem NY and Florida, where she wintered for 25 years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband William “Dix” in 1998 and several siblings.
She is survived by her son Mark (Susan) Lusk; grandchildren Gregory Lusk and James Payne; great-granddaughter Hayley Payne, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, 16650 State Rte. 31, Holley Friday January 19th from 4 to 7 p.m. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church Holley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 9 South Main St., Holley NY 14470.
