Lorrie MurekLorrie A. Murek-Delaney, 58, of Albion, died unexpectedly at her home on March 12, 2020. She was born Nov. 13, 1961 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Diane (Avino) Murek, and she lived in this area all of her life.

Lorrie worked as a caretaker at The Arc of Orleans in Albion. She volunteered at P.A.W.S. and helped deliver Meals on Wheels. Lorrie enjoyed playing cards, taking trips to the casino, her beloved dog Mietta, making friends, and talking. Most of all, she loved being a grandma, and she devoted herself to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Jessica (Kevin) George and Erin (Robert) Taylor; grandchildren, Madisyn Taylor, Hudson Taylor, Harper George and Elodie Taylor; brothers, Ken Murek and Mitch (Lori) Murek; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no calling hours. Her memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thu., March 19 at Pullman Memorial Universalist Church, 10 E. Park St., Albion.
