Liston B. “Benny” Robertson

Liston B. “Benny” Robertson, 87, of Waterport died Oct. 2, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in Batavia. He was born May 3, 1934 in Clarendon, a son of the late Frederick G. and Zola V. (Ward) Robertson and had lived in this area all of his life.

Benny served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW and the D.A.V. He loved to hunt, fish and being outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Frederick H. Robertson and his sister Joyce (Louis) Charles. He is survived by his children: Courtney Robertson, Christopher Hafner, Jack (Christina) Robertson, Jada (Tom) Burgess, Paul H. Robertson; grandchildren: T.J. Burgess, Mallory Robertson, Jillian Robertson, Shawn Robertson, Dana Burns; sister, Sandra (Joe) Sacco; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There are no prior calling hours. His Graveside Service and Military Honors will be held Fri., Oct. 15 at 11 a.m. at Lynhaven Cemetery, Housel Ave., Lyndonville, NY 14098. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. Albion.
