Lisa Wallace Smith, of Greece, N.Y., passed away on Oct. 3, 2019. Born March 21, 1958 in Greenwich, Conn., Lisa had a special light in her heart. She touched many people with her kind, loving character and was gifted with a special musical voice. She loved to sing and play her guitar and participated on various church worship teams, local bands and open mic nights. Lisa had a beautiful heart and a beautiful soul, and she showered everyone she knew with deep and relentless love. Recently, Lisa fought a difficult 21-month battle with ovarian cancer, but now she is free of her pain and suffering and instead in the company of Jesus and heaven’s saints.

Lisa is survived by her beloved husband, Michael J. Smith; son, Jason (Molly) Breen of Webster; daughter, Lindsey Breen of New York City; mother, Helen (late Herb) Brown of Clarence; father, Milt (Barb) Wallace of Ontario, Canada; sister, Sandy (Rob) Bouren of New Mexico; brother, Buddy (Diana) Wallace of New Paltz, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Sawyer, Hudson and Slater; her New Mexico nieces and nephews; her husband’s parents, Richard (Colleen) Smith of Albion; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Kathleen Smith, Sharon (John) Gavenda, Debbie (Fred) Perrine, Tom (Darryl) Smith, and Gary (Ronda) Smith; stepson, Michael (Brooke) Smith; stepdaughter, Melissa (John O’Meara); as well as six grandkids who all loved her and who she adopted as her own.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Lisa on Fri., Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at Oasis Christian Fellowship, 2070 Five Mile Line Road, Penfield NY 14526.

Lisa asked that any donations in her name be made to Highland Hospital/Palliative Care or an ovarian cancer fund.
