Linda G. Krug

Linda G. Krug, 72, of Medina, ended her worldly journey on Tue., Jan. 28, 2020.

Born June 24, 1947 in Buffalo, Linda was a daughter of the late David A. and Isabel H. (Godfrey) Roberts. She grew up on Grand Island. Upon graduating from high school, she went on to attend Erie County Technical Institute (now ECC), where she met the love of her life, William J. Krug. The couple married on May 12, 1967. Together, they moved to the Medina area, where they raised their family of three daughters. Linda was very much in tune with nature and was a very spiritual person. A talented artist, Linda enjoyed writing poetry and painting. She loved to garden, was very interested in genealogy, and loved family gatherings. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family, which gave her great meaning and purpose in life.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 53 years, Bill Krug; her loving daughters, Doreen (Chris) Pilarski, Karen Krug and Cheryl (Blaine) Wirth; grandchildren, David Krug (Tiffani Durow), Danielle Wirth (Mitch Todd), Jacob Kurzawski, Josephine Conn (Desmond Lopez) and Savanah Wirth; a great-grandson, Oakley Todd; a brother, John Roberts; brothers-in-law, Thomas Krug and Michael (Barbara) Krug; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her special dog, Charlie.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her siblings, Jean (Art) MacAuley, Shirley (Bob) Ervin and James Roberts.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tue., Feb. 4 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Her memorial service will immediately follow at 6 p.m., with Rev. Dr. William Wilkinson officiating.
