Leatha Taber
Leatha Louise Martin Taber’s 45-year battle with multiple sclerosis ended on Feb. 8, 2020. She was born in Hamilton, Ontario on Oct. 11, 1952.
She was a 1970 graduate of Albion High School and received her B.A in English from Buffalo State College in 1974. Her entire career was spent with the Orleans County Department of Social Services. Reading was her passion, as well as any British murder mystery on PBS.
She is survived by her best friend and husband of 42 years, Tom Taber; their son, Ian Martin Taber; and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her very special friends, Bonnie Hopkins Watson and Kristi Chilson.
Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. A private burial of her ashes will take place near the top of Mt. Albion Cemetery in the spring.
