Lawrence BaleLawrence J. “Larry” Bale, 65, of Knowlesville, died Jan. 31, 2020 at his home following a short illness, with his wife, children and grandchildren by his side. He was born Feb. 25, 1954 to Raymond and Beatrice Bale and was a lifelong resident of this area.

Larry was a former peace officer for the Village of Lyndonville in the 1970s. He also served as a member of the Orleans County Auxiliary Police and worked as a park ranger at Lakeside State Park. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jeanne; his sons, David (Janelle) McAdoo of Barker, Travis (Melanie Lusk) McAdoo of Medina, Matthew (Jennifer) McAdoo of Middleport and Christian (Jena Hemphill) Bale of Albion; brothers, John Bale of Lyndonville, Bill Bale of Medina and Jeff Bale of Lyndonville; sister, Dawn (Gary) Marciszewski of Medina; four grandchildren, Baileigh, Riley, Piper and Karina; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Larry’s life on Sat., Feb. 8 beginning at 11 a.m. at Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church, 12111 Ridge Road, Medina NY 14103.
