Lawrence A. “Larry” Fuller
MIDDLEPORT – Lawrence A. “Larry” Fuller, 82, passed away June 10, 2023. He was born January 3, 1941, in Medina, a son of the late Walter and Gertrude (Grimes) Fuller.
Larry was a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville his whole life. He was employed at the Town of Hartland as Water Superintendent, retiring after 41 years of service. Larry was a charter member of the Hartland Volunteer Fire Co.
Larry served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Herbert W. Carr Post #425 American Legion in Barker. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and home projects. His greatest joy was family and going to his grandchildren’s activities. Larry was a selfless man and enjoyed helping others.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Karen; children, Michael J. Fox, Wendy (Dory) Marsh and Melanie (Rhys) Tetrault; grandchildren, Jarrod and Andrew Marsh, Aiden and Landen Guild and Emilie Tetrault; brother, William Fuller and sister, Evelyn (Cliff) Johnston; sister-in-law, Judy Neace; and Bella, his beloved cat: several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Judy (Walter, deceased), Patricia (Charles, deceased), Carol (Gerald, deceased) and dear friend and brother-in-law, Donald Lindke.
Larry’s family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St., Gasport on Tuesday, June 13, from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 6369 Wolcottsville Rd. Akron, NY 14001, followed by his funeral service at the church at 11 a.m.
Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery with Military Honors. Memorials may be made to St. Michael’s Lutheran Church at the address listed above.
