Laurita M. Brooks
Laurita M. Brooks, 73, of Lyndonville, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 22, 2020 at Rochester General Hospital. She was born Aug. 20, 1946 in Medina to the late Robert and Ada (Lonnen) Buckland.
She was a graduate of Lyndonville High School, class of 1964. Laurita spent most of her time cooking, canning and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James, in 1993; and by her sister, Mildred Buckland, in 2018.
Laurita is survived by her siblings, Floyd Buckland, Gail Newman and James (Linda) Buckland; nieces and nephews, Rodney (Denise) Newman, Jeff Newman, Amy Newman, Mike Buckland, Stace Buckland and Tracy Buckland; several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews and cousins.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
