Larry J. Frasier

American flagGASPORT – Larry J. Frasier, 70, entered in to rest on Sun., Nov. 22, 2020.  Born Aug. 18, 1950, Larry was the son of the late Merlin and Beatrice Frasier, brother of the late David Frasier.

Larry graduated from Barker High School in 1969, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1969-1973.  He worked at Simonds Steel Mill and Trek Inc. until his retirement.  Larry was an active volunteer with the Somerset Youth Softball/Baseball League for several years having roles as coach, coordinator, scheduler and fundraising.  He was honored for his dedication by having one of the baseball fields named in his honor.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years Charlene (Ferguson) Frasier; daughter, Tonya (John Freiberg) Frasier of Cheektowaga; son, Brett (Kelly Koeppel) Frasier of N. Tonawanda; grandchildren: Gary IV, Leila and Colee Hopper, and Vedder Frasier; aunts: Virginia Frasier, Janice (Bob) Goodenough; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St., Gasport, Wed., Nov. 25 from 2-5 p.m. where his funeral service will follow visitation beginning at 5 p.m.  Interment will be at the family’s convenience.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Barker Lions Club, P.O. Box 123, Barker, NY 14012.  Please note the Funeral Home will be operating at 33% capacity per state guidelines.  NY requires those in attendance to adhere to social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.
