Larry D. Akers
Larry Donald Akers, of Kendall, passed on Sat., Aug. 17, 2019 at the age of 70.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine (Jurs) Akers; his children, L. Daniel (Dana) Akers and Keith Douglas (Shannon) Akers; his grandchildren, Theodore “Teddy” Akers, Makenna Morgan Akers, Grady Miles Akers and Claire Marie Akers.
Larry was predeceased by his parents, Woodrow and Verlie (Tackett) Akers; his grandson, Brady Akers, in 2011; and his three brothers, Bobby, Billy and Rickie Akers.
Family and friends are invited to call Fri., Aug. 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, Inc., 735 East Ave., Hilton. Larry’s memorial service will be held Sat., Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. at Hamlin United Methodist Church.
