LaQuita Terrell Amos, 39, of Greensboro, N.C., went home to be with the Lord on Thu., Dec. 12, 2019.

Born on Oct. 3, 1980 in Medina, LaQuita was the daughter of Sheila (Glendale McCrae) and David (Daphne Amos). She graduated from Medina High School in 1998 and went to Howard University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in business administration. She continued her education at Forsyth Technical College and received a project management technology degree. LaQuita was employed at Lincoln Financial for several years.

She enjoyed traveling, cooking and sports, and she was adventurous. She will be most remembered as a loving daughter, sister, caregiver, niece, friend and partner with a generous and fun spirit.

She sacrificially gave her time to create wonderful memories with her nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

LaQuita leaves to mourn grandmother, Bernice of Medina; siblings, Desiree and Dasia Amos; nieces and nephews, Abrianna, Ariel, Devon and Krisma Amos, and Nautica Potts, all of Greensboro; and her life partner of 16 years, Quentis Leverett of Greensboro.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Edward Boose, and the Rev. Oscar and Minne Amos.

Relatives and friends may call on Sat., Dec. 21 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Glad Tidings Baptist Church, 404 W. Oak Orchard St., Medina NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with the pastor, Rev. Lambert Duncan, officiating. Burial will be in Boxwood Cemetery.
