Lamar “Gator” Chambers, Jr.
ALBION – Lamar “Gator” Chambers, Jr., 73, went peacefully Home with the Lord after a long illness on June 12, 2021. He was born October 30, 1947 in Arcadia, FL to the late Lamar Sr. and Pauline (Wilson) Chambers.
Lamar enjoyed going to the casino and the horse races and washing his car. He was known for his loud personality and he was the kind of man who knew everyone.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by several of his siblings.
Lamar is survived by his children, Lamar III, Detdra and Tina; siblings, Bobby, Flora, Sherrie and Larry; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. on Monday, June 21st, from 11 a.m. to noon where his Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following at noon. Interment will be held in Union Cemetery, Albion, NY.
