Kirk G. Bane
Kirk G. Bane, 74, of Buffalo, died peacefully at home on April 28, 2020. He had battled cancer since 1997.
He is survived by his wife, Laurine (née Furner); daughter, Karen; son, William (Marcy) Wright; grandchildren, Jack, Liam, Emmett and Amelia Wright; sister, Kathy (Gene Dinse); brother, Randall; and true friend, Peter Brattke; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father and mother, Paul and Mildred (née Stalker) Bane of Lyndonville.
Kirk worked as a courier for most of his life. He cherished his family and his writing time. His style was artistic and unique. He was a gentle, loving soul, especially appreciated as a great listener.
Kirk donated his body to the UB School of Medicine.
