MEDINA- Kenneth E. Daluisio (“Ken”), 59
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the loss of Kenneth “Ken” E. Daluisio, who passed away on July 11th, 2024, at the age of 59. Ken was a beloved friend and a respected businessman, known for his kind heart, unwavering dedication, and immense knowledge. He was born on May 14, 1965, to the late Tom and Patricia (Dean) Daluisio.
Ken was a proud resident of Medina, NY, where he built a life filled with love and laughter. Ken was the founder and owner of The Print Shop in Medina, where he worked tirelessly to serve his community, and earned the respect and admiration of his clients and colleagues.
Ken’s greatest joy in life was his family and friends. He is survived by his three brothers, John (Barb), Tom (Supanee Kunkong), and Bob (Donna) also many nieces, nephews, godchildren, aunts, uncles. His special and loving aunt Sandra from Arizona. As well his special friends Pat and Alex Greene, Nick and Kaitlyn McKnight. All other amazing friends and colleagues who cherished his presence. His business will continue with his employees Micheal, Dameon, Randy, James, Alex and Mel. Ken valued every moment spent with his loved ones, whether it was at holiday gatherings, family vacations, or simple evenings on the Greene’s porch. He cared deeply for all, and always wanted the best in life for the ones he loved.
Ken had a huge love for his cats, who were his constant companions and brought him immense joy and comfort. He leaves behind Lugnut, Roy, Sammy and Layla. His affection for them was evident in the way he cared for them and spoke about them to his friends and family.
In recent years, Ken created Blue Thursdays- a free, blues music event for the community at State Street Park. The event was something he aspired to create, along with his friend and collaborator, Chris Busch. The event was to serve one purpose: to provide a high-quality, festival-like music event with premium talent, simply for the good of the community. The iconic ‘Blue Thursdays’ signs from his shop blanketed WNY roadways every summer. Going into its third year, Ken was immensely proud of what was accomplished there, lately drawing over 1300 people to Medina to enjoy the event. Many who travel here for the event are new to Medina, and that gave Ken great satisfaction. It made his heart sing because the event’s success was Medina’s success. Event organizers vow to continue on, keeping Ken’s community legacy alive with the music event he loved. Relatives and friends may call at the Bogan and Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St, Medina, NY 14103, on July 20th, from 2pm-4pm and from 7pm-9pm.A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to be announced.
