Kathryn M.E. Curry

Kathryn “Kathy” M.E. Curry, 77, of the Town of Hartland, died July 29, 2020 at her home, following a brief illness. She was born May 10, 1943 in Buffalo, a daughter of the late William and Jennie (Kramer) Atkinson, and she lived in this area most of her life.

Kathy was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Barker. She was a member of the Hartland Historical Society for many years and was quite active with Save-A-Pet Rescue. Kathy loved cats and would rescue and care for them. She retired from G.M. in Lockport after 30 years.

In addition to her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her grandson, Kyle Walker; and her sister, Jean Fischer.

She is survived by her loving companion of 37 years, Frank; daughters, Jennifer (James) Walker, Kathleen (Watson) Omicinski, and Kimberly Kenney; her son, William (Susan) Bucolo; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.

The family will receive friends at Sherrie Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main St., Gasport NY 14067, on Sun., Aug. 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Mon., Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Parish, 1726 Quaker Road, Barker NY 14012. Please note that all guests entering the funeral home or church will be required to wear a face mask.
