Kathleen A. Munn

Kathleen A. Munn, 61, of Medina, died unexpectedly on Sun., June 30, 2019.

Born Jan. 26, 1958 in Niagara Falls, N.Y., Kathy was the daughter of the late Donald and Helen (Christina) Dixon. She married Jack S. Munn Jr. on Aug. 6, 1994. She worked as a waitress and bartender in her earlier years, and then as a home health aide. She was employed for many years at the Niagara Woodland Campground in Ransomville, from which she eventually retired. Kathy enjoyed playing bingo and camping, and she loved to cook. She will be lovingly remembered for being a devoted grandmother, and for always being willing to help anyone in need.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jack S. Munn Jr.; her daughter, Serina Dixon; four grandsons, Dillon (Karlee), Austin, Zachary and Dominic Winters; a great-grandson, Adrian; five brothers, Donald (Darlene) Dixon of Colorado, Joe Dixon of Camillus, N.Y., Matthew (Heather) Dixon of Tampa, Fla., Charles (Heather) Dixon of Phoenix, N.Y., and Steven (Julie) Dixon of Baldwinsville, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tue., July 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where her funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Hartland Central Cemetery, Gasport.
