Judith Howard Moss

Judith Howard Moss, of Medina, passed away on March 25, 2019 at the age of 92.

She was born in Youngstown, N.Y. to Edwin L. and Virginia O. Howard and was married on their farm.

She is predeceased by her husband, the Very Reverend R. Benjamin Moss; and her siblings, Jean and Gary.

She is survived by her children, Melinda (Scott) Abriss, Robert B. (Paul Lee) Moss, Katherine (Raymond) Parker and Lawrence (Leslie) Moss; grandchildren, Raymond E. (Molli O.) Parker IV, Rory J. Parker, Rachel J. Abriss and Jessica R. Abriss; nephew, Mitchell Howard; and niece, Susan (Peter) Tosto.

Judy lived a very full life as a mother of four, enjoyed a 25-year career as an educator and speech pathologist, and was a true thespian with over 50 roles in the theater (where she met her future husband). During her life and retirement, she traveled and went on many trips both here and abroad, together with Ben, her husband of 63 years.

The family has decided to forego calling hours and a funeral service. The interment will be a private ceremony at a future date for the family and will be officiated by Barbara Price of St. John’s in Youngstown.

In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to Dementia Society of America or Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
