HOLLEY – Joyce A. Moore, 81, died May 8, 2022 in Elderwood of Brockport following a long illness. She was born May 14, 1940 in Rochester to Warren and Ethel (Keplin) Hartley and had been a life-long resident of this area.

Joyce was a devoted wife and an excellent homemaker. In her younger years she was a ballet dancer and enjoyed supporting her children by attending their Color Guard competitions. She loved good music and listening to bands, especially Neil Diamond. Joyce enjoyed BINGO, travelling to New York City, shopping and getting her hair done.

Mrs. Moore was predeceased by her husband Richard and her granddaughter Jennifer.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Donald) Haubner, Lori Miller and James Zelazny Jr., all of Holley; her step daughters, Rebecca (James) Haines of Spencerport and Emma Moore Parsons of Irondequoit; a stepson, Frank Helvey of Henrietta; 7 grandchildren, Alexandra (Mike Burrage), Brandon, Jillian (Jason), Jessica (Rich), Donald, James and Daniel (Krystal); and 5 great-grandchildren, Cody, Elaina, Gianna, Charlie and Kylie.

There will be no prior calling hours.

Family and friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Hillside Cemetery-Holley.  A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
