Joseph PescaraJoseph D. “Joe” Pescara, 63, of Albion, passed away on Jan. 25, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Aug. 8, 1955 in Medina to Albert and Betty (Gibbs) Pescara.

Joe was a huge fan of sports, especially football, baseball and hockey. He really loved spending time outdoors on his property with his dog, Robi Joe. Joe worked at GM for 30 years. He was a kind, gentle, positive person who was always easygoing and friendly.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his brother, Gary.

Joe is survived by his mother, Betty Pescara; siblings, Linda Muscarella, Scott Pescara and Brenda (late Russell) Witt; nieces and nephews, Mindy (David) Mosier, Jennifer (Tim) Comstock, Todd Witt, Ashley (Mike) Hougle, Joseph Muscarella, Devin Pescara, Breanne Pescara and Olivia Pescara; great-niece and great-nephew, Reis and Mari Hougle; stepmother, Barbara Pescara; and several aunts, uncles and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wed., Jan. 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion NY 14411, where his service will be held immediately following at 4 p.m.
