Jon E. DeTar
Jon E. DeTar passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on July 10, 2022. He was born Oct. 4, 1949.
Jon is predeceased by his parents Bud & Stella and brother, Jeffrey DeTar. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Belair-DeTar; stepchildren, step-grandchildren, siblings, several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jon had a lifetime career as a Master Auto Technician, was an accomplished musician and most enjoyed casting a lure at Black Lake. Jon was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Family will receive friends on Thu., July 14 from 4-8 pm at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport where a funeral service will be held on Fri., July 15 at 11 am. A graveside service will immediately follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Canal Road, Brockport.
