John L. Williams

John L. Williams, 70, of Albion, passed away peacefully at the Martin-Linsin Residence on May 2, 2020. John was born June 21, 1949 in Springville, N.Y., a son of the late Jack and Catherine (Parmenter) Williams.

John was an active member of Albion Lodge #1006 B.P.O. Elks and was currently serving as the State Vice President of the West District. He will be remembered for his awesome chicken BBQ, fish dinners, and his love of mowing his yard on his John Deere. John was a longtime member of the Arcade Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Lesley (Jerry) Barber of Arcade, Mark Williams of Sardinia, Brooke (Jason) Foote and Corey (Corlyn) Webster; grandchildren, Ryan, Kylee Barber, Hailee, Allison Williams, Jacob, Emma, Garrison Foote, Cameron, Collin Connor Webster; siblings, Mary (late Roy) Young, Anne (Joe) Bunk, Suzanne (Brian) Strauss, Patricia Noeson and Michael Williams; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
