John HinkleyJohn L. Hinkley, 40, of Albion, died July 17, 2020 at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Feb. 9, 1980 in Albion, a son of Susan (David) Polisoto and Chester Hinkley, and he lived in this area all of his life.

John graduated in 1998 from Albion High School, where he played soccer and football. He worked for many years as a drill press operator at Brunner Inc. in Medina. John loved playing softball.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Hannah and Dominick Hinkley of Albion; brother, Jeremy (Dawn) Hinkley of Rochester; sister, Jennifer (Glenn) Allport of Tennessee; best friends, Corey Vanameron and Kim Albanese; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

His Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
