John F. “Jay” Lowery, Jr.

John F. “Jay” Lowery, Jr., 52, of Albion died Dec. 19, 2021 in United Memorial Medical Center following a brief illness.  He was born Sept. 30, 1969 in Rochester to John and Patricia (Gross) Lowery, Sr. and was a life-long resident of this area. 
Jay enjoyed motorcycles, and tinkering in his garage with various projects he had in the works.  But by far one of his favorite things to do was to spend time with his youngest son, Roy. 
Mr. Lowery was predeceased by his daughter, Annabella Lowery.  He is survived by his wife, Susan; sons: Roy Lowery and Matthew Swartz both at home; mother, Patricia Lowery of Knowlesville; brothers: Guy (Penny) Steffen of Albion, Frank Lowery of Knowlesville, Shannon (Deborah) Lowery of Albion; sisters: Tamra (Ed) Mairs of Albion, Misty (James) Kibbe of Medina, Judy Lowery of Knowlesville; as well as several nieces and nephews. 
There will be no calling hours and service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Autism Speaks, 1060 State Road, Second floor, Princeton, NJ 08540. Jay’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. of Albion.
