John E. Raduns
LOCKPORT- John E. Raduns, 51, of Lockport, NY, formerly of Lyndonville/Medina, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at his home.
Born on November 30, 1972, in Buffalo, NY, he was the son of John E. Raduns and Coral D. “Coral” (Riffle) Raduns.
John attended Lyndonville and Medina High School, from which he graduated. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. When John returned home, he was an aspiring artist. He transitioned his talents into becoming a tattoo artist and later became owner/operator of Black Dog Tattoo in Lockport, NY. He was well known for his artistry and made many friends from that. He was a devoted animal owner and cared for his two Pit Bulls and exotic pets. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed the open road on his Harley.
John is survived by his father, John Raduns; a brother, Jason Raduns, two nieces, Samantha and Reese Raduns, a great-niece, Amelia, his uncle and close friend and mentor, Gene (Lori) Raduns, his uncle Tom and Brenda Dubois and his aunt, Jeanie Dubois, his cousins, Jeanine (James) Campisano, Jeremy (Lynn) Raduns, Joe ( Jamie ) Bouter, Megan ( Nick ) Price and William Bouter and many other Cousins and good friends.
John is predeceased by his mother, Cory; maternal grandparents, Ozzie and Lori McNall; paternal grandparents, Walter and Leona Raduns; an aunt, Pauline Raduns; and uncles, George Dubois, James Dubois, and Jerry Raduns.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at the Medina VFW, 216 E Center St, Medina, NY 14103, from 1:00PM to 4:00PM.
Burial will be private for the family with full Military Honors.
