Joann T. D’Andrea

HOLLEY – Joann T. D’Andrea, 90, passed away October 18, 2022 at the Sunset House with her loving son David and grandson Nathan at her side.  She was born October 4, 1932, in Albion, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Gurzynski) Rice and had lived in this area all her life.

Joann was a member of St. Mary’s Church. She was an avid reader and loved being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Donald; sisters Lorraine Boccacio and Patricia Sargent; and brothers John and Leonard Rice.

She is survived by her sons James (Cheri Shaw) D’Andrea and David D’Andrea; grandsons Nathan, Corey and Carey D’Andrea; granddaughter Princess D’Andrea; sister Virginia DeFilipps as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There are no prior calling hours. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Mary’s Church in Holley on Saturday Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Sunset House, 3746 St. Paul Blvd. Rochester, NY 14617 or the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Meridian Centre Blvd, Suite 110, Rochester, NY 14618.
