Joan E. Hartway

Joan E. Hartway, 78 of Medina, entered into rest at her home on Sat., Sept. 18, 2021.

Born Oct. 29, 1942 in Medina, Joan was a daughter of the late Charles and Martha (Mauragis) Hartway. She was a graduate of Medina High School, class of 1960. She was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Trinity RC Parish, St. Mary’s Church in Medina. Joan worked as a bookkeeper at Al Maroone Ford in Buffalo for many years. Earning a pilot’s license in her younger years, Joan had a passion for flying and enjoyed taking various flights with her nieces and nephews. She was an avid New York Yankees fan. Joan also had a love for Irish music and, having travelled to Ireland herself, enjoyed Irish pubs.

Joan was the beloved sister of: Charles (Bonnie) Hartway and Paul D. Hartway; cherished aunt of: Lisa (Timothy) Enderby, Jennifer (James) Bansbach, Charles J. (Darlene) Hartway, Bridgett DiCureia, Richard (Marie) Hartway, Emily (Lee) Winters, Kara Muscarella, Amanda (Eric) Hoban and Matthew Hartway; and great-aunt to several great-nieces and nephews.
