Jennifer M. Korte
Jennifer M. Korte passed away May 19, 2020 after a long battle with cancer, under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in Newfane on Oct. 31, 1984, she was the daughter of Michael and Donna (Bruning) Killion.
Jennifer earned her associate degree in nursing from Niagara County Community College, and she worked at Eastern Niagara Hospital for 17 years in various departments. She was a member of St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Wolcottsville. She enjoyed roller derby and being with her roller derby friends, and she was a fan of both Disney and dog rescuing, especially Welsh corgis. Her biggest passion was spending time with her family, especially her children.
Besides her parents, Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Casey Korte; her beloved children, Avery and Declan; and her mother-in-law, Susan (late Roger) Korte.
Services and interment will be private. Interment will take place in Cold Springs Cemetery.
