Jennifer L. Zielonko-Major
Jennifer L. Zielonko-Major, 54, of Waterport, entered into rest suddenly on Jan. 22, 2020. She was born April 25, 1965 in Albion, a daughter of the late John H. and Pamilla Sue (Hey) Leigh.
Jennifer was a graduate of Lyndonville High School, class of 1982. She went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from SUNY Brockport. Jennifer was a Christian who loved animals and helping others.
She is survived by her husband, Shawn Major of Shelby; two children, Lynzy Zielonko of Denver, Colo. and Matthew (Tamara) Zielonko of Dallas, Texas; a brother, John “Jerry” Leigh; aunt, Lysbeth “Betsy” (late Richard) Hoffman; and cousin, Sandra (Eric) Hellwig.
Services will be privately held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jennifer’s memory may be made to Carlton Fire Company, 4341 Waterport-Carlton Road, Albion NY 14411.
