WEBSTER/HOLLEY – Janet D. Halliday, 81, entered into rest surrounded by her loving family on October 17, 2022.  She was born in Dundee, Scotland, UK to the late Albert and Christina Liddell on February 17, 1941.

Janet was predeceased by her husband, John, whom she’d shared 59 years of marriage with.

Janet loved to knit, go shopping, solve puzzles, and spend time reading. Her favorite thing to do, though, was spend time with family. Janet and John both worked as greeters at St. Mary’s Church in Holley during their lives together, getting to know the community and making lasting friendships.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, Oct. 20, at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 16650 State Rte. 31 Holley from 4 to 7 p.m. Her Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Holley on Friday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Janet’s name may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St, Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
