James Monroe Boring
James Monroe Boring, of Medina, passed away on Tue., July 2, 2019 at Northgate Health Care Facility, with his loving family by his side. James was born on May 28, 1939 in New Florence, Pa. He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Boring; and his mother, Tesse (Schilling) Boring. James worked at FMC in Middleport for 39 years, retiring in 2001. James loved being with family, enjoyed watching horse racing, and loved to cook. He was also a big sports fan.
James is survived by his siblings, Bert, Arthur, Edward and Jean, all of New Florence; his sons, Jeffrey, Matthew and Nicholas, all of Medina; his daughter, Lisa Smith of Rochester; his granddaughters, Alison and Megan Boring of Medina; and a longtime companion, Joyce Munn of Medina.
His family would like to express its sincere appreciation to Niagara Hospice for the care given to James. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice at Jeanne’s House, located in Northgate Health Care Facility.
