James M. Buckland
James M. Buckland, 72, of Kent and Rochester, died April 1, 2019 at Monroe Community Hospital. Jim was born Jan. 1, 1947 in Albion, a son of the late Jay and Velma (Stafford) Buckland, and he lived in this area most of his life.
Jim graduated from Kendall High School in 1966 and last worked at Alliance Tool and Die in Rochester.
He is survived by his son, Jim Buckland of Rochester; brothers, John (Mary Ann) of Kent and Robert (Elizabeth) of Chili; his sister, Mary (Richard) Jewsbury of Kendall; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sat., April 6 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 16650 State Rte. 31, Holley, where his memorial service will follow at 12 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Monroe Community Hospital Activities Department, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester NY 14620.
