James RushAmerican flagJames Alan “Jim” Rush, 70, of Albion, passed away on March 24, 2019. He was born April 16, 1948 in Albion, a son to the late Luther “Zeke” Rush and Bette McWilliams.

Jim was a master fisherman, an electrician, and a great baseball player. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids. Jim served in the U.S. Navy.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Valerie (Elwell) Rush of Albion; sons, Thomas James (Carmen) Rush of Charlotte, N.C., Michael John (Megan) Rush of Barre Center, Michael (Danielle) Blake of Clarendon, and Steven Blake of Henrietta; grandchildren, Aiden Rush, Owen Rush, Audrey Blake, Annabelle Rush, Brinn Rush, Lilianna Rush and Nolan Blake; brothers, Stephen (Heather) Rush of Florida and Brian (Pamela) Rush of Waterport; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion NY 14411, on Tue., March 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. only.
