James Buckland

LYNDONVILLE – James Lee “Jim” Buckland,76, of Lyndonville, NY, entered into rest on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the United Memorial Hospital, Batavia, NY, with his loving family at his side.

Born on September 21, 1949, in Medina, NY, he was the son of the late Robert and Ada (Lonnen) Buckland.

On April 7, 1973, Jim married the former Linda Walbridge, and together, they raised three children.

He was employed with Harrison Radiator of Lockport as a Maintenance Technician for 31 years, from which he retired. Jim loved the open road; with his wife, Linda, he rode his motorcycle in every state except Alaska. He was also an avid hunter, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda; his children, Michael (Kelly) Buckland, Stace (Wendy) Buckland, and Tracey (Perry) Oddi; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; his sister, Gail Newman; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, February 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Lyndonville, NY 14098, where a funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. The burial will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made in Jim’s name to any organization that is looking for a cure for dementia.
