Harry I. Arnold

Harry I. Arnold went home to be with the lord on Aug. 22, 2022. He was born on Oct. 23, 1933 in Van Etten, NY, he was the son of the late Glenn and Ida (Wargelin) Arnold.

Harry grew up on the family farm and graduated from Van Etten High School. After graduation he went to Buffalo, NY to work for Western Electric, he was drafted into the U.S Army for two years, serving in the Korean War. After his service he went back to work for Western Electric and eventually went to work for Kodak. HE was a little league baseball coach and member of the County Line Country Church. Harry enjoyed gardening, watching sports and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving is his wife of 61 years, Gloria L. Arnold (Nee Ralph); sons, Geoffrey (Shelly) Arnold and John (Patricia) Arnold; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Arnold and John Patrick Arnold; sisters, Polly Anne (Ken) Donohue, Amy Tolien and Isabelle (Dan) Oswald; brothers, Glenn W. (Patricia) Arnold Jr., also several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at the County Line Country Church, 1385 County Line Rd., Barker, NY 14012 on Thu., Aug. 25, 2022 at noon. Burial will be private in Somerset Cemetery.
