Gloria Lynch

ALBION – Gloria Lynch, 79, passed away March 12, 2022 at Highland Hospital following a short illness. She was born January 10, 1943 in Beaufort, SC, a daughter of the late Joseph, Sr. and Susie (Heyward) Middleton and had lived in this area for over 50 years.

Gloria was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, a long-time member of the Albion congregation, and she loved teaching people about the Bible.  She was an avid reader and loved gardening and humming birds.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Lynch; and her sisters, Albertha Singleton and Shirley Middleton.

She is survived by her children, Ermine Canty, Lyle (Deborah) Lynch and Lorna Lynch; grandchildren, Cameron Bracken, Jevona Gilmore, Tarrence Canty, Toland Canty and Chrisjon Canty; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Abraham (Rose) Middleton, William (the late Carol) Middleton and Michael Middleton; sisters-in-law, Ruby (the late Joseph Jr.) Middleton, and Martha (the late Kenneth Sr.) Middleton as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
