Glenn T. Iorio
Glenn T. “Jerry” Iorio, 96, of Penn Yan, N.Y., passed away on Sun., Dec. 30, 2018 at The Homestead Nursing Facility at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 21, 1922 in Ohio, a son of the late Nicholas and Angeline (Vigiano) Iorio.
He graduated from Medina High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on Sept. 25, 1942 and was honorably discharged Jan. 10, 1946.
Glenn is survived by his sister, Rose (Clyde) Adams.
In addition to his parents, Glenn is preceded in death by Caroline (Sam) Ottaviano, Jennie (Carmelo “Tom”) Sanfilippo, Ralph Iorio and Joseph Iorio.
Relatives and friends may call at Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina NY 14103, on Fri., Jan. 4 from 4 to 7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., Jan. 5 at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Medina. Full military honors will be accorded by members of Lincoln Post #1483 Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Butts-Clark Post #204 American Legion.
