Gerald P. Wahl, 83, died peacefully Sept. 14, 2019 while a resident at LeRoy Village Green, and is now in the presence of the Lord.

Jerry served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957 and retired after 38 years with American Airlines in Rochester, N.Y. He was also very active in the community, having served on the Kendall Central School Board, the Morton Fire Department and the Kendall Masonic Lodge.

Mr. Wahl was predeceased by a great-grandson, Samuel Tomasino.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Maxine (Hall) Wahl; his daughters, Melodee Wahl of LeRoy, Sherry (Ronald) Tomasino of Kendall, and Stephanie (Robert) Rudman of West Allis, Wis.; grandchildren, Jacob (Cheryl) Tucker of Tucson, Ariz., Thomas Tomasino of Marathon, Fla., Joseph (Heather) Tomasino of Kendall, Katherine (Stephen) Christner of Batavia, Stephen (Erin) Rudman of Lancaster, Pa., and Shawn (Emily) Wahl of Jacksonville, N.C.; his sister, Joan (Norman) Ireland of Albion; as well as six great-grandchildren and three nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tue., Sept. 17 from 12 to 2 p.m. at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 16650 State Rt. 31, Holley, where his funeral service will be held following visitation at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hamlin.
